60-Day Evaluation

Alpha offers a residential placement for a comprehensive sex offender evaluation.   Clients participate in all programming offered in the residential setting in addition to:
 

bullet

Personality assessment testing.

bullet

A plethysmograph examination.

bullet

A polygraph verifying sexual history disclosures.

Evaluation Objectives Include:

bullet Identification of the offense cycle and related precursors.
bullet Identification of deviant sexual behavior patterns.
bullet Assessment of sexual compulsivity.
bullet Identification of interpersonal deficits.
bullet Assessment of the likelihood of continued risk to the community.
bullet Determination of the most appropriate treatment setting.
bullet Identification of additional patterns of criminal or inappropriate behaviors.

Assessment Methods:

bullet Personality assessment testing.
bullet Plethysmograph examination to determine patterns of sexual arousal.
bullet Polygraph examination to confirm full disclosure about the conviction offense(s) and sexual history.
bullet Participation in the general treatment program milieu.
bullet Participation in group therapy sessions
bullet Sexuality charting
bullet Empathy assessment

Evaluation

Comprehensive Sex Offender Evaluation

Alpha offers a comprehensive 60-day inpatient evaluation for convicted adult male sexual offenders awaiting sentencing. Click Here for more information.
 

Treatment 

Short Term Residential Treatment Intervention

Alpha offers a 90-120 day remedial option for sex offenders who are not adequately progressing in their outpatient treatment programs.  This is a therapeutic alternative to revocation for those individuals who have not sexually re-offended, but who are in danger of being adversely discharged from outpatient programming.
